Laneway Festival

With 30 acts in total, next year’s edition of the festival again sees female talent rule the roost.

At the top of that pack is Bat For Lashes, who makes good of her promise to return for a national tour after stopping over in Sydney in 2011 for the Vivid Festival. Jessie Ware, Alpine, Nite Jewel and Julia Holter are also in the mix.

Expect visits from Yeasayer, MS MR and EL-P as well. Plus two of the loudest bands to emerge from the post-hardcore scene in the last 12 months – Cloud Nothings and Japandroids.
