To everyone that has been affected by the devastating bushfires across New South Wales, and Australia, we express our support and deepest condolences.

At this point in time, Sir Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road Hunter Valley concerts, scheduled for this Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 January, will be going ahead as planned. Patron and staff safety is of the utmost concern and we will be working with local and regional fire authorities and other emergency stakeholders, to monitor the situation in the coming days.

Any updates to the Hope Estate shows will be posted to this page and Chugg Entertainment’s Facebook.

SECURITY CHECKS

  • We recommend you get to the venue in good time before the start of the show, as extensive security screening will be in place at the point of entry.
  • Explosives sweeps will be conducted at the venue.
  • There are no pass-outs available for this event.
  • See below for a list of prohibited items. Any prohibited items will be confiscated. Confiscated items will not be returned, replaced or reimbursed.

BAG SIZES

  • Backpacks of any size will not be permitted.
  • Only small bags up to A4 in size (30cm x 20cm x 10cm) will be allowed in to the venue.
  • All patrons with bags will be subject to bag checking and other security measures at the external entry gate upon arrival at the venue. To make your entry as quick as possible, we encourage patrons to leave bags at home.

CASH ONLY

  • Please be aware that there are limited ATM facilities at the venue, so come prepared with enough cash for the evening. All bar and food outlets are cash only and will not have EFTPOS facilities.

OTHER

  • While reserved seating is available at these concerts, please note that patrons may stand or be encouraged to stand during the performance. Please be considerate of those around you and have a great night!
  • No chairs or cushions with backs of any kind, including inflatables, are permitted in the General Admission On The Lawn area.
  • We are expecting a capacity crowd for these shows, so ask everyone in the General Admission On The Lawn area to please be mindful of patrons around you when reserving space. We want everyone to enjoy the show and have a great time!

  • Picnic-type blankets only will be allowed in the General Admission On The Lawn area. Chairs or cushions with backs of any kind, including inflatables and stools, will not be permitted.
  • There will be free water refill stations available at the venue. Patrons may bring in empty soft refillable water bottles no larger than 600ml in size.
  • Jacket or poncho for inclement weather. Umbrellas, tents and sun shades will not be permitted.
  • Sunscreen and sun hat
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Small personal cameras and camera phones are permitted. Professional cameras with detachable lenses and all video recording devices (including GoPros, iPads and tablets) are not permitted.

There are no cloakrooms. Any Prohibited Items will be confiscated. Confiscated items will not be returned, replaced or reimbursed.

Prohibited items are not allowed into the venue. They include, but are not limited to:

  • Chairs or cushions with backs of any kind, including inflatables and stools
  • Backpacks of any size
  • Bags larger than A4 in size (30cm x 20cm x 10cm)
  • All beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). There will be free water refill stations available at the event.
  • Food
  • Glass (jars, bottles, containers, mirrors, perfumes, etc.)
  • Metal and hard plastic containers (drink bottles, cups, etc.)
  • Soft refillable water bottles larger than 600ml in size
  • Hydration packs and reservoirs (e.g. Camelbaks)
  • Audio or video recording devices (including GoPro and similar)
  • iPads and tablets
  • Professional photography equipment (e.g. telephoto lenses; any lens over 20cm; any detachable lens; stands or other commercial equipment or anything deemed by Event staff to be professional photography equipment)
  • Monopods, tripods or attachment sticks (selfie-sticks)
  • Air horns
  • Weapons or explosives of any kind (including potential missiles)
  • Illegal substances
  • Animals (excluding service dogs such as guide dogs and police or emergency service dogs)
  • Nitrous oxide bulbs and canisters
  • Flares, fireworks, sparklers explosives, or any fire twirling equipment
  • Fires and open flames
  • Flammable liquids
  • Musical instruments
  • Sound systems
  • Portable laser equipment and pens
  • Sharpies, markers, paint cans or paint pens
  • Drones or other remote-control devices
  • Anything studded (i.e. belts, wristbands etc.)
  • Skateboards, scooters, wagons, carts, rollerblades, roller skates, bicycles, quad-bikes, segways, hoverboards, self-balancing scooters or any personal motorised vehicles
  • Unauthorised solicitation materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, give-aways, samples, or other promotional items
  • Eskies, coolers or any hard food and beverage storage vessels
  • Umbrellas, tents and sunshades
  • Confetti or shredded paper
  • Large flags or banners
  • Kites or sky lanterns
  • Toy guns, water guns or slingshots
  • Prams, pushers, strollers, baby capsules, car seats or bassinets
  • Any other item deemed by Event staff (in their discretion) to be dangerous or offensive or potentially dangerous

Rover Coaches bookings close at 9:00am, Thursday 9 January (AEDT) unless sold out prior.

Parking
It is highly advised that you do not drive to the event, however, if you choose to do so there is limited free car parking available at the venue with entry via Broke Road.

Parking along the entirety of Broke Road is prohibited. This is for the safety of pedestrians and to alleviate congestion on local roads.

No Camping
There is no camping on-site and all patrons must depart the venue after the show.

Drop Off Point
There is a drop off point at the main Broke Road entry, however, please note that this is accessible at the beginning of the concert only. Patrons cannot be collected from this point after the concert, as all vehicles will be exiting the venue.

Parking
There will be a limited number of free accessible parking spaces available at the venue, located off Broke Road in the grass paddock area near the main entry gate.

To access this area please ensure that your vehicle displays a current temporary or individual Mobility Parking Scheme permit and your Australian Disability Parking Permit.

Spaces are limited so please allow plenty of time to get to the venue to secure a spot.

Drop Off Point
There is a drop off point at the main Broke Road entry for all patrons, however, please note that this is accessible at the beginning of the concert only. Patrons cannot be collected from this point after the concert, as all vehicles will be exiting the venue.

Accessible Toilets
There will be accessible toilets located in each of the venue’s public toilet areas.

Box Office
Two box offices will operate on event day: the primary box office near the main entry gate, adjacent to the general public car park off Broke Road; and the secondary box office, available for bus patrons only, located near the entry gate inside the bus parking area. The box offices open at 2:00pm on event days only.

Patrons are encouraged to collect their tickets in advance from a Ticketek agency. Visit the Ticketek website for a list of agency locations.

Pass-Outs
Pass-outs are not allowed for this event.

Ticket Reselling
Ticketek is the only authorised ticket seller for Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road Hope Estate concerts. No responsibility is accepted for tickets purchased from unauthorised sellers; these may be refused entry, no exceptions.

The re-sale of tickets in certain circumstances is governed by ticket sales legislation and may attract criminal penalties.

Reserved Seating Patrons
While reserved seating is available at this concert, please note that patrons may stand during the performance. Please be considerate of those around you and have a great night!

General Admission Patrons
We are expecting a capacity crowd for these shows, so ask everyone in the General Admission On The Lawn section to please be mindful of patrons around you when reserving space. We want everyone to enjoy the show and have a great time! No chairs or cushions with backs of any kind are permitted in the General Admission On The Lawn area.

Age Restrictions and Guidelines
All children under 18 years of age must remain in the company of a responsible adult at all times.

Chugg Entertainment does not recommend attendance at the events by children aged 5 years and under.

Mobile Tickets
Download your tickets to your Mobile Device before you arrive at the venue. Locate the link to your tickets in your confirmation email or SMS sent at time of purchase.

If you can’t locate your confirmation email or SMS, don’t worry Ticketek will send you an SMS reminder with links to your mobile tickets on the morning of show.

Print-At-Home Ezytickets
If you selected Print-At Home, these would have already been sent to your inbox. Alternatively you can also log into your online Ticketek order history to access your tickets and print from there.

Hope Estate is a fully licensed and catered venue and is strictly no BYO food or beverages (including water). This will be enforced by security at the entry gates.

A range of food and beverages will be available for purchase on site.

Picnic hampers are available for pre-purchase by calling 1800 777 444.

Free drinking water will be available in the venue and patrons may bring in empty soft refillable water bottles 600ml or less in size.

EFTPOS is not available at food and beverage outlets, and there will be limited ATM facilities on site.

Photo ID
Proof of age photo ID is required to purchase and consume alcohol, and service will not be provided to patrons who are under 18 years of age or intoxicated. Acceptable ID is:

  • Current and valid Australian Photo Driver’s Licence or Learner’s Permit
  • Passport (either current or expired less than 2 years ago and has not been cancelled)
  • KEYPASS Photo ID Card or equivalent Proof of Age Card
  • Australian Birth Certificate (copy is okay) PLUS a Current Photo ID (e.g. student card). We must be able to verify both your age and your photo ID, we cannot accept one without the other.

Admission
The venue and promoter reserves the right to deny entry to and/or evict intoxicated patrons or under-age patrons found with alcohol. No alcohol can be removed from the concert site.

For your safety, security guards, RSA Marshals and police will be on site.

A security hotline has been set up for patrons to use (0428 260 477) and the police command station is located near the main entry gate and medical facilities.

We recommend you get to the venue in good time before the start of the show, as extensive security screening will be in place at the point of entry.

Please be aware that the following patrons may be denied entry to the event:

  • Any person deemed to be intoxicated and/or disorderly
  • Any person who does not comply with a request to conduct a bag search or security check
  • Any person who does not comply with a request from any authorised person including the organiser / promoter, venue staff, security, or regulatory bodies
  • No unauthorised/unlicensed vendors allowed

Cloakroom facilities will not be available at the event. Prohibited items will be confiscated and are unable to be stored, so if in doubt leave it behind.

ATM facilities will be located near the main bar and food court area at the rear of the amphitheatre. All bars and food stalls are cash only and will not have EFTPOS facilities. It is recommended that you come prepared with enough cash for your needs for the entire evening.

The concert will proceed rain or shine. Only exceptionally severe weather conditions will affect the performance so be prepared.

Umbrellas, tents and sun shades are not permitted in the venue, so bring a raincoat or poncho if inclement weather is predicted.

Official Elton John VIP Packages
VIP package customers will be emailed further instructions in the week prior to the concert, so please keep an eye on the email address used when you purchased your event ticket(s).

Ticketek and Chugg Entertainment are unable to provide information on VIP Package redemption, so please contact EltonJohnVIP@aegpresents.com with any queries.

 

Hope Estate Dinner/Cocktail Packages & Hampers
Guests who have purchased a Hope Estate Dinner Package have been emailed details.  If you have not already received your Dinner Package information please call 1800 777 444.

Dinner package guests are reminded that food and beverage service is structured to run between 4:00pm and 7:30pm. We strongly recommend that you arrive and enter the venue via the Dinner Package Entry points at the venue gates, then be ready to check-in by 4:00pm to maximise your package time.

Guests who have purchased a Hope Estate Picnic Hamper or Picnic Hamper Package will be emailed details of where to find the Hamper Collection tent.  Those guests who have purchased a Picnic Hamper package including tickets have been contacted regarding their preferred method of accessing their tickets.  If you have not yet nominated how you would like to access your tickets please call 1800 777 444 before close of business Thursday 9 January otherwise tickets will be available for collection from the main box office, off Broke Road, from 2:00pm on the respective show day.

All Dinner Package and Picnic Hamper guests need to bring their Ticketek ticket to enter the venue and a copy of their Tax Invoice or Electronic Receipt to enter the Dinner Package or collect their Hamper.

Medical services will be in attendance and based inside the main entry gate, off Broke Road.

Smoking, including e-cigs and/or vapes, is prohibited in all parts of the venue except in the designated smoking area.
