TAYLOR SWIFT IS HEADING DOWN UNDER TO ROCK THE SNOWYS

XYZnetworks, Rob Potts Entertainment Edge and Chugg Entertainment are proud to announce the artists confirmed to appear at the 2009 CMC ROCKS THE SNOWYS FESTIVAL, being held at Friday Flat in Thredbo over the Canberra-Day long-weekend of Friday 6th March and Saturday 7th March.

Following a hugely successful inaugural year, the second year line-up includes one of the hottest sensations on the US charts today, Grammy-nominated country pop artist, TAYLOR SWIFT.

At just 18, TAYLOR SWIFT is the first female solo artist in the 44-year history of the Billboard Country Chart to score five Top 10 singles on a debut album for her 2006 release, Taylor Swift.

Taking the charts by storm, she is also the first female artist in history to write or co-write every song on that same triple-platinum-selling album. 

Canadian Roots Artist of the Year 2008 (for the fifth year in a row), CORB LUND, will also be in Australia to perform at the Festival, along with local chart-topping music artists, PETE MURRAY, THE WAIFS, ASH GRUNWALD, STEVE FORDE, THE AUDREYS, THE SUNNY COWGIRLS, MORGAN EVANS, JASMINE RAE, AMBER LAWRENCE and JAKE NICKOLAI.
