Thelma Plum to open for
Lianne La Havas in Brisbane

We’re excited to announce that singer-songwriter Thelma Plum has been confirmed to open the show for Lianne La Havas, in front of a hometown crowd, at The Zoo in Brisbane on Thursday 24 January.

An old soul with an emotional trembling vibrato akin to Tracey Chapman with the personal narrator's heart of her hero Paul Kelly, Thelma displays an authenticity and honesty beyond her years.

Performing at all ages venues, markets and cultural festivals around south-east Queensland, Thelma has captivated audiences. Unearthed by Triple J with her song "Father Said" Thelma was invited to perform at the 2012 National Indigenous Music Awards.

Thelma's diverse cultural background with Indigenous, Australian and Brazilian heritage has shaped her worldview and provided much inspiration to draw on. Plum likes her music just how she likes her honey - "Super sweet."
