With Perth singer/songwriter and self confessed chaos addict, Morgan Joanel, already set to join Newton Faulkner on his upcoming Australian tour, we’re excited to announce acoustic duo Jolan has been added to the line up!

Following on from the release of their debut album on the always quirky independent record label Laughing Outlaw Records, opening for Newton Faulkner at all of his headlining dates will be the first national tour for the Wollongong raised Jolan.

Recording their first EP in 2008, the last few years have seen the band playing live along the East Coast of Australia as well as continuing to write and record and develop their sound. As an avid supporter of cancer research and charities, Jolan raised $13,000 from one single gig to give as a surprise gift to a patient at the Prince Of Wales Hospital in Sydney.

MORGAN JOANEL CONFIRMED AS NATIONAL SUPPORT ON NEWTON FAULKNER’S UPCOMING TOUR

Perth born solo singer/songwriter and artist-cum-designer, Morgan Joanel, is a self-confessed chaos addict spending her days colouring in and playing dress ups; her nights with music and darkness…

From a love of creating something interesting, Morgan makes music best enjoyed live. Whether playing solo or with her band, she’s always got her feet tapping away at her looping pedal allowing her to create layers of guitars, percussion and vocal harmonies - all made live on stage from scratch.

Morgan has just finished up in the studio recording her latest EP, with covers from artists as diverse as The Dandys Warhols, Gorillaz and Madonna. It will be released through Sony in on Friday 8 March.
