LANEWAY SYDNEY SELLS OUT;
MELBOURNE AND PERTH TO FOLLOW
"Laneway SG 2013 was bigger and better than last year. From the venue to the lineup, everything looked and sounded great. The region's best indie music event just keeps getting better and better"
Manila Times
"St Jerome's Laneway Festival has stepped up and claimed its spot as New Zealand's music day in the sun . Once again, the folks behind Laneway Festival proved they know what it takes to create a crowd-pleasing line-up."

The Laneway Festival in Sydney is now sold out; Laneway Melbourne and Perth are extremely close to being sold out. Less than 100 tickets remain for each of these cities and they'll sell in the next 24 hours. Brisbane and Adelaide aren't far behind so snap up a ticket while you still can.
If the incredible shows at the Singapore and Auckland Laneway Festivals this weekend are anything to go by, Australian audiences are in for a treat. In excess of 18,000 people attended two near sell out festivals in Singapore and New Zealand and were treated to stand-out performances by Yeasayer, Jessie Ware, Bat For Lashes, Polica and many others. Props especially go to Kings of Convenience, who opened the festival so they could play in almost complete silence. Their first gigs in Oz will be a real treat, so get down to Laneway early.
If you still haven't sorted tickets - they're on sale from the Laneway Festival website.
HOTTEST 100
The results from the world's largest annual music poll are in and boy, did the bands on the 2013 Laneway line-up do well in triple j's Hottest 100. Bat For Lashes, Alpine, Chet Faker, MS MR and Snakadaktal all made an impressive mark but The Rubens, Flume, Alt-J and Of Monsters & Men totally killed it, with multiple entries and Top 10 positions (#10, #4, #3 and #2 respectively). Old mate Flume was both the most-represented artist and the highest-ranking local act.
THE WEATHER
Thankfully, the weather in Brisbane looks to be clearing this week and it's full-steam ahead for Friday's event. Please keep checking Laneway's Facebook and Twitter for regular updates on everything Laneway-related. Our thoughts go to those affected by this week's floods.
