JOHN FOGERTY's AUSTRALIAN SUPPORT,
THE SHEEPDOGS, WIN 2012 JUNO AWARDS!

Currently touring Australia with John Fogerty on his Creedence Clearwater Revival National Tour, The Sheepdogs had more good news to celebrate over the weekend upon hearing they’d won 3 Juno Awards at the April 1 ceremony! The Canadian rockers - who were handpicked by John Fogerty himself to join him in Australia - took home Single of the Year for I Don’t Know, Rock Album of the Year for Learn & Burn, and New Group of the Year.

This well deserved recognition follows a hugely successful 2011, which saw them become the first unsigned band to ever appear on the cover of US Rolling Stone’s magazine, make appearances on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon & Project Runway and perform at Bonnaroo Music Festival.

Built on a solid rock foundation of three-part harmonies and dual guitar leads, the Saskatoon-bred band used last year to spearhead a modern rock & roll revival. The year catapulted The Sheepdogs into mainstream success with their album 'Learn and Burn' achieving Gold certification, their latest EP 'Five Easy Pieces' debuting at No.1 on iTunes Canada and were personally invited to tour with Grammy Award winning band Kings Of Leon across Canada.

Having already impressed Australian audiences at John Fogerty’s Melbourne & Adelaide shows, as well as West Coast Blues ‘N’ Roots, your only chance to catch this Juno awards winning band live on this tour is on Tuesday 3 April at the Sydney Entertainment Centre or at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Thursday 5 April.  Don’t miss The Sheepdogs, opening for John Fogerty!
