M83
“Laneway had a lot of hype to live up to, which they've know doubt delivered with this year’s bill”
Beat
“Year after year, St. Jerome's Laneway Festival delivers a brilliant lineup of bands that has given it the reputation of a true music nerd's festival”
Concrete Playground
"We didn't think organisers could top this year's roster ... Featuring lots of pretty girls and nice doses of electronica and chillwave, it seems they just might have"
Ever Guide
“Overflowing with goodness”

This year’s Laneway Festival line-up has been widely hailed as one of the strongest and most interesting in its history. And today we’re pleased to announce that one of these incredible artists, M83, will be playing 2 very special side shows!
Hot ticket alert. M83’s new LP Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming is a sure contender for the Album of The Year. It’s an ambitious, sprawling, epic 22-track double album and it’s outstanding. We were massive fans of French electronic dream-pop artist Anthony Gonzales’ last album, Saturdays = Youth, but this is next level. Get it, put it on, turn it up and then grab tickets to one of the most anticipated gigs of the year.
“A riot of stadium-epic power drums, synth choruses set to Kate Bush and a runaway sax cut from Cut Copy’s cloth combine to excellent effect”
NME
“High-impact, dizzying synth-pop epic… Born on a vapour trail of dancefloor abandonement, it’s pure, digitized MDMA”
Time Out
9.1/10 (Best New Music) "the best M83 record yet"
