ESSENTIAL INFORMATION FOR TICKET HOLDERS


Festival Entry

Unless you are coming in on a coach, the main entry point to the festival is off Broke Road. Please look out for festival signage.

Parking

Festival parking is on site and free of charge. Look out for the signs or ask a marshal.

Disabled Persons Pick Up/Drop Off

There will be a drop off area for guests and parking set-aside for disabled persons. Please look out for the signs or ask a marshal for directions.         

Tickets

Any ticket purchases from today will need to be collected from the festival box office. No further tickets will be posted. If you have already purchased tickets and not received them by COB Monday, please contact E-media on 1300 923 314.

Wristbands

Your wristband is your ticket so doesn’t forget to bring this. Upon entry you will be fitted with your wristband. Take good care of your wristband. It is not transferable and once it is removed it becomes invalid. You will be required to present your wristband to security upon request.

Passouts

Your wristband acts as your pass out.

Box Office / Gate Opening Times

The box office is located at the main festival entrance. Opening times are as below:

Friday 16 March
Box Office - 11:00am
Camping Gates - Noon (camping ticket holders only)
Festival Gates - 3:00pm

Saturday 17 March
Box Office - 9:00am
Festival Gates - 9:30am

Sunday 18 March
Box Office - 9:00am
Festival Gates - 9:30am

Monday 19 March
GATES CLOSE AT NOON

Camping

If you are camping for CMC Rocks, your entry will be via the main entrance on Broke Road. Please look out for the camping entrance signs. As a camper you will be wrist-banded for both Festival and Camping at the same time.

All camp sites are sold on a first come, first served basis. Marshals will be on ground to direct you to your site when you arrive. Please note that if you would like to camp next to your friends, you need to arrive at the same time. Sites will not be kept vacant for people who have not yet arrived.

If you are camping we advise that you all leave valuables in your car out of sight. Security will be present in the campground for your safety.

Campers are allowed to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages into the campsite. No alcohol is allowed in the camping area. Police will be checking campsites for alcoholic drinks. For alcoholic drinks after 11pm campers can visit the Campers Bar.

No food or drinks can be taken into the festival site.

Open fires are not permitted, however gas burners for cooking and gas bbq's are allowed.

What to bring - Do’s & Don’ts

Do

  • Photo I.D
  • Enough cash to get you through the day. There are limited EFTPOS facilities on site
  • Protection from the elements (hat, sunscreen, raincoat, something warm for when it gets dark, gumboots are a great idea when it has been raining)
  • Only low lying chairs - legs approx. 30cm and below will be permitted on site
  • Empty water bottles which can be filled at the water stations located around the festival site
  • Prams are permitted in the campground and event site. Due to the event’s sound amplification we strongly suggest that all small children should wear earmuffs.
  • You are able to bring a compact digital camera for personal photos only

EFTPOS

There will be EFTPOS and limited cash-out facilities available at the bars. Everything else on site is CASH ONLY.

First Aid

The St John's Ambulance will be operating throughout the Festival to assist you with any medical condition you may have.

In the event of an emergency, please make your way to one of the emergency exits and follow the directions from CMC Rocks Management and security staff.           

Smoking

Smoking is only permitted in the outdoor designated smoking areas of the event. No smoking is permitted indoors.
