ONE MOVEMENT MUSIC FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES FINAL ADDITIONS TO WEEKEND FESTIVAL LINE UP

One Movement for Music Perth (OMFM) is very excited to announce the addition of two amazing Australian acts to complete the One Movement Music Festival line up.

Headlining Saturday night will be home grown heroes, Perth five-piece Karnivool. After their 2005 release, Themata, it was clear that Karnivool had set a new precedence in heavy rock in Australia. Another thing was clear – they were going to be big. International licensing deals followed, as did many a packed show and delighted fan.

In 2009, Karnivool released their latest offering Sound Awake, a kaleidoscopic, multi-dimensional masterpiece, which went Gold in Australia in less than a month and was released in fourteen territories worldwide. This was followed by sold out Australian tours, three US and European tours and international critical acclaim. OMFM is thrilled to have the boys back on home soil this October in what will be their only capital city performance between US and European headlining tours.

Joining Karnivool and the plethora of existing international, national and local acts are Sydney up and coming outfit, The Jezabels. Sounding like a cross between Kate Bush and Karen O, lead singer Hayley Mary is a captivating and emotionally forceful presence. Their powerful single Hurt Me has been received with open arms on the triple j airwaves and is a timeless and dramatic track. The Jezabels are definitely a band to watch and One Movement Music Festival is very pleased to have them join the line up.

These new additions to the weekend festival will be joining the likes of Xavier Rudd, Grinspoon, Ben Kweller (USA), Children Collide, British India, Dead Letter Circus, Shapeshifter (NZ), Dan Sultan, Operator Please, Drapht, Miami Horror, Cloud Control, Delta Spirit (USA) and many more. Friday night’s Twilight Festival is a stand-alone ticket and can be purchased separately or by a Gold Pass Upgrade or Weekend Festival Upgrade Pass.

Weekend Festival Ticket:
Weekend Festival tickets are available as individual day passes for Saturday or Sunday or two day Weekend Pass.

Weekend Festival Upgrade Pass:
A Weekend Festival Pass Upgrade will also give you entry to the Twilight Festival on Friday.
